If blight has been a problem on your plot or any nearly plots - remember to check your harvested potatoes.
We are discovering that some of the potatoes with damage or marks on them are needing to be thrown out after a couple of days. If you have stored any potatoes, it is important to check them frequently and regularly and discard any that are going soft. I do not put them on the compost heap.

We grow our own fruit and vegetables for our meals for as much of the year as we can. Without a greenhouse we have to buy shop food in the winter months but in the spring, summer and autumn we often have enough to share with family and friends.
