First early seed potato - Pentland Javelin. As is one I have grown in the past and enjoyed eating.
Second Early/salad seed potato Charlotte as I find these beautiful on a plate with a fresh salad in the warmer days.
Not yet purchased the main crops and I may yet buy another bag of first earlies - International Kidney is one I enjoy. This is the same variety that is grown as Jersey Royals on the island of Jersey. They have a milder climate there and so get the earliest crop of English potatoes to sell in the markets and shops.
So I will be putting the seed potatoes to chit tomorrow. I have an article on HubPages about how to chit potatoes, I will add a link for it.

Growing Your Own Fruit and Vegetables
We grow our own fruit and vegetables for our meals for as much of the year as we can. Without a greenhouse we have to buy shop food in the winter months but in the spring, summer and autumn we often have enough to share with family and friends.
