Recipe for fruit ice cream with only two other ingredients, this recipe uses fruit
A simple ice cream to make with fruit and yoghurt. Simple to follow and quick to prepare + just allow freezer time.
Here is a simple recipe that can be altered to use up almost any fruit, this is a good way to use up fruit if you have too much of a good thing.
This recipe uses fresh raspberries but you can adjust it to use other fruits if you like.
A Fruit Ice Cream made with yoghurt.
Put 400 mls of yoghurt into a bowl and into this beat
3 - 4 tablespoons of icing sugar, use a fork to do this.
Now use the fork to crush down the raspberries.
Next stir the raspberries into the yoghurt mixture.
Pour this mixture into a container that you can out into your freezer.
Now freeze for two-three hours, the freezing time time needed will sometimes vary.
If when you are planning to serve it, it is too solid let it stand for a short time. Then stir it well to even out the texture of the ice cream before serving.
Please be aware that ice cream made by this method will never be as smooth as ice cream made in an ice cream machine or shop sold ice creams.
If you prefer you can use an ice cream machine an adjust this recipe to the maker's instruction book.

Growing Your Own Fruit and Vegetables
We grow our own fruit and vegetables for our meals for as much of the year as we can. Without a greenhouse we have to buy shop food in the winter months but in the spring, summer and autumn we often have enough to share with family and friends.
Read about growing your fruit and vegetables here on my growing your own food pages.
