Growing Your Own Fruit and Vegetables
We grow our own fruit and vegetables for our meals for as much of the year as we can. Without a greenhouse we have to buy shop food in the winter months but in the spring, summer and autumn we often have enough to share with family and friends.

The current news is that, we have a lot of seasonal fruit this year.
The blackcurrant, redcurrants and white currant bushes are offering us a bumper crop this year. I hoped this might happen when I saw how much blossom we had earlier in the year. Now it is important to get the fruits picked and frozen as quickly as possible, it looks like being a good year for fruit compote.
