most years I plant seeds and nurture them in one of the 'cheap plastic mini greenhouses' the problem with them is that they do not offer full protection of a full size greenhouse and they can be damaged by the weather. So I am hoping the dry spell of two days can be joined by some warmer weather.
Shallots can be planted and it is getting near to the end of planting time for garlic... soon all vegetables growers will be busy..busy..busy.

Time to plan what you will be growing in the coming season...
Now is a good time to be buying or planning what you will buy to grow in the next few months when the weather improves.
I think about this in a 'prioritising way' that is first pick the things that can be grown/started off in the late winter early spring. so it is a good time to order or start to make decisions on what varieties of seed potato I will be growing . What types of onions and shallots I want to grow and also what garlic I will be planting garlic comes in varieties to and you need to pick one that will suit the soil you have in your vegetable plot.
List of things to think about ....

B.T.W. Start to save your egg boxes now they are the best/easiest thing to use to 'chit' your potatoes.

Hello welcome to my growing blog...
New blog here, I am putting together information to show how easy growing your own vegetables can be. It is the preperation of the land that you are going to grow on that will require the most effort or in some cases hardwork (if it has been a neglected plot ) .
